There are many apps out there to help you earn money. Rebate apps are useful to help get you money back on things you’re already purchasing such as groceries, gas, and online purchases. If you use these apps wisely, you can save a TON of money. I’ve tried a bunch, and here is a list of a few favorites of mine:
Rakuten (Formerly Ebates)
Rakuten is primarily for online retailers. When you click on the link from the app prior to shopping, you’ll get a rebate back. You can browse retailers to see how much cash back you could earn with your purchases. It’s that easy! Ibotta and Rakuten have many of the same retailers, so compare which will give a greater percent back. When you sign up today through this link, you’ll get a $10 bonus as a welcome gift after you spend $25! You can claim your money with a check or through Paypal once you earn $5.01. I highly recommend this app for the high potential earnings, but you do need to enter the app before purchasing.
Ibotta is a grocery and online retailer rebate app. For grocery stores, you clip coupons before you shop, and take a photo of your receipt to get cashback. They even offer some grocery items free after rebate. For online retailers, you simply click on the link before shopping and get cash back. They have even started a new Pay with Ibotta feature where you add a debit or credit card, purchase a gift card for your exact total on purchases, and pay using your Ibotta app for instant cash back. You can redeem your earnings via Venmo, Paypal or Gift Cards. Ibotta offers many extra bonuses that can help get you extra cashback. In my first year, I earned $180 back. I highly recommend this app for the high potential earnings and occasional free products, but you do need to enter the app before purchasing.
FetchRewards is super simple to use. You can shop, scan your receipts and get rewards. No coupons to clip, no hoops to jump through, just scan your receipts to get cashback. They even offer brands that will give you more points. You can earn points at hardware stores, gas stations, club stores, almost any store you shop at! You can even connect your Amazon account and your email to earn more when you shop online at select stores. You can easily redeem your points for gift cards or for entering sweepstakes. I highly recommend this app for ease of use.
The Dosh cashback app allows you to link credit cards and earn cashback effortlessly when you shop at select stores. You can check nearby offers, browse their online offers, check out local delivery and takeout offers, and even check for rebates on hotels. Shop as usual, and get rewarded automatically. There’s a $25 minimum to withdraw your money to your bank account or to PayPal. I highly recommend this app for ease of use.
This app is a gas rebate app. They also have select grocery stores, but unfortunately none in my area. Prior to getting gas, you choose a gas station, then fill up as normal. Afterward you submit your receipt for a rebate. When you get enough rebates, you can claim your money with gift cards, PayPal, or a check in the mail. When you sign up today through this link, you’ll get an additional $0.15 cashback per gallon on your first purchase. I recommend this app for saving money on gas!
ReceiptPal is another receipt rewards app. You can scan your paper receipts, link your Amazon account and your email to earn receipts on every purchase. ReceiptPal offers gift cards and sweepstakes entries for your rewards. I recommend this app to stack your receipts with the previous cash back apps listed!
