Planning your child’s first birthday party. It’s exciting. It’s fun. And it’s crazy how fast the first year flew by. The first thing you need to do is come up with a theme. After you’ve chosen a “Wild One” theme, the fun part begins. Not sure you want to do a Wild One theme? Check out these other one-themed parties.

Planning your baby’s first birthday party doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You can make it as big or as little as you want! All of my boys had small first birthday parties with immediate family only. Whatever the size, the following ideas will get you started.

Here is everything you need to throw a Wild One 1st Birthday Party.

Invitations

There are so many options for invitations depending on the style you are looking for. There are print out ones that you can fill in your information. Digital files you can print with a picture or without a picture and digital files for an electronic invitation. I always printed them out to have as a keepsake and to put digitally into a Shutterfly book for lasting memories!

Party Decorations

Buying decorations depends greatly on your set up and the area you want to fill. Here are some great ideas and options for your Wild One. See all the different party decorations below:

Milestone Sign

You can choose to make your own with Canva or another digital editing site, but it is much easier to buy a pre-made template! There are some great options on Etsy. The best thing with these milestone signs is that you can display it at the party, do a photoshoot with and keep it forever to remember the little details about your little one. I absolutely love looking back on these to reminisce!

Party Favors

Cute hair ties as party favors for the girl guests

Crowns for the little guests
